Updates for the 2019 Dodge Charger

All eyes have been on the 2019 Dodge Challenger Hellcat or the 2019 RAM 1500 Classic lately, but there’s a lot going on with the 2019 Dodge Charger that you need to know about. The Dodge Charger is easily one of the most popular models at Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM Chesapeake, and there’s a good reason for it! These four-door sedans represent some of the most versatile cars out there...it just depends on which trim package you choose. For 2019, Dodge is really pulling out all the stops with the new Dodge Charger.

For starters, the Dodge Charger SXT trim will be available as an all-wheel-drive version in the lineup, and the new Dodge Charger GT will be a RWD model. Both of these trim levels are rated at 300 horsepower and have an eight-speed transmission. The Dodge Charger GT will offer the option to be had with the Dodge performance suspension and display the options on the car’s infotainment screen to easily sort through driving modes — you can check acceleration, braking times, and g-forces from the center as well.

The top of the line 2019 Dodger Charger Hellcat will come with features borrowed from the Dodge Challenger Demon like launch control, line lock, an after-run chiller, and torque reserve. It’s also getting some new instrument panel badging, a satin black painted hood option, an optional micro-suede package, and optional Brass Monkey gold wheels.

The Dodge Charger Scat Pack will also get the line lock and launch control. It comes with a dual air inlet grille from the Dodge Charger Hellcat, and has optional Bilstein three-mode adaptive damping suspension.

Dodge will give the Dodge Charger R/T a new hood, fascia, performance suspension, paddle shifters, and a 8.4-inch Uconnect® touchscreen. This trim is equipped with a 5.7-liter V8 engine that is rated at 370-horsepower and 395 lbs-ft of torque. These are some awesome trim line updates.
