The 2019 RAM 1500 is Here

The 2018 New York International Auto Show is going on now, and offers plenty of sneak previews of what’s coming for the 2019 model year. One of the big draws at the Javits Center this year is the 2019 RAM 1500, an all-new design for a new generation. This truck recently arrived at Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM Chesapeake, so we thought we’d highlight some of its new features.

We’ve covered the truck in this space before. If you’ve been following along, you know it debuted earlier this year at the Detroit Auto Show, and a recent appearance at the Chicago Auto Show was accompanied by a raft of MOPAR parts that’ll be available for order through the parts department at your RAM dealership.

Many RAM truck fans have already seen the restyled interior and exterior, including the improved aerodynamics, the attractive “Power Dome” hood, and the new grille.

But there’s more inside, too. The UConnect® Infotainment system introduces two new variants (UConnect 4 8.4 and UConnect 4C 8.4N), with three of the four available versions supporting Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®. The trim levels are slightly re-shuffled, and now include the Tradesman, Big Horn, Rebel, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and Laramie Limited trims.

New features include eTorque, which uses regenerative braking to generate additional power. There’s also a 4X4 Off-Road Package that adds upgraded suspension, tires, and other components that adventuresome drivers are sure to enjoy.

There are many more great features (including improved active air suspension and parking sensors), but you’re better off test driving this truck than reading about it. Come see this model for yourself in our new RAM truck inventory. The team at Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Chesapeake can’t wait to get you behind the wheel of the impressive 2019 RAM 1500!
